Soccer World Cup 2010

The Soccer World Cup was founded in 1930, and takes place every four years. 32 teams compete for the championship title, and the Soccer World Cup finals are the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world.
The current champions are Italy, who beat France in the final in 2006.
The next Soccer World Cup will take place in 2010 in South Africa.

The Africa Cup of Nations

The Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the African Nations Cup (ANC) is Africa's leading main football competition. The ANC was founded in 1957, and 16 national teams across Africa compete for the title.
Egypt is the reigning champions and South Africa hosted and won the competition in 1996.
