The four-star Onze Rust Guest House and Conference Centre, with its unique natural setting in the heart of the Cape wine lands, is popular as a destination for weekenders, holidaymakers, tourists and business travellers. It also provides an idyllic setting for weddings and special events. The farm dates back to 1715 and the two-hectare indigenous garden is home to dams, a small river and abundant bird species and other wild life. This is the perfect place for you to restore your energy and vision.

In keeping with the Dutch name of Onze Rust, which means “our rest”, the owners have nurtured this serene and tranquil setting to create a place where you can relax and revive your inspiration. It is the perfect setting for memorable and special occasions.

Two guest houses, the Country House and the Victorian House, have been carefully restored and offer comfortable accommodation. Twenty people can be accommodated in 10 en-suite rooms that have extra-length beds and private entrances on to the verandahs overlooking the surrounding lawns and trees, while a cottage is available that can sleep four people.

The beautiful garden also provides the setting for the new Conference Centre that caters for groups of up to 120 people and hosts inspirational events throughout the year. Lunch and dinners can be provided, and we organize airport transfers, restaurant bookings and outings for our guests. We offer a one-stop service with accommodation, good food, décor, garden ceremonies, music and photography.
