KoelenRust Estate is situated in the heart of the Crocodile Ramble, close to Johannesburg, Sandton and Pretoria and 10 minutes drive from Lanseria International Airport and the world famous Cradle of Humankind. Our country retreat offers adults a natural hide-away from the nearby cities. This is a haven, personally developed by the owners, as a retreat for adult guests. Surrounded by a vast garden amongst huge trees, you will experience peace and tranquillity that will create the frame of mind for very productive meetings, conferences and relaxation.
KoelenRust Estate is the ideal place for a conference in the country side or a relaxing weekend away. Whether you are on business in Gauteng, need a few days of peace and quiet or attend a wedding in the area, KoelenRust Estate is the place to unwind. Spend a relaxing day by the swimming pool, sunbathing, or take a leisurely stroll through our tree abounding garden where various species of bird make their home. For the more adventurous, the lodge can be used as a home base when exploring the area with all its arts, crafts and curio shops, game farms and caves.
Children are only allowed, when accompanying parents, attending a wedding in the area.
The Lodge is the perfect venue for mini-conferences, workshops, informal boardroom meetings, product launches, staff training, think tanks, training and bosberade. What makes it unique? Your company will have exclusive use of the entire lodge during the time of the conference if all the rooms are booked out. The conference room is situated in the garden which will ensure total privacy and seclusion from the outside world – a real hide-away. The Lodge provides a total different feeling from the normal conference rooms in a hotel set-up.
We offer conference facilities at realistic prices. The conference room can accommodate up to 40 day delegates or 30 overnight delegates (sharing in 15 double rooms).
